About The 096

Providing chaplains, essential supplies, and meaningful re-entry support.

What We Do

096 Prison Chaplaincy Ministry is committed to spreading the teachings of Jesus Christ by serving the needs of the imprisoned community and offering a spiritual bridge from incarceration to revitalization.

Our aim for men and women of Rutherford County, North Carolina who have found the grace of God while incarcerated is to offer true forgiveness. We believe this forgiveness can be a life-changing experience.

Upon release we strive to significantly impact their lives by connecting them to bridge services, such as addiction services, support groups, food education, and shelter assistance.

Who We Are

096 Prison Chaplaincy Ministry is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Thanks to the generosity of people like you and caring loving local churches and groups, we are providing chaplains, essential supplies, and meaningful re-entry support for incarcerated men and women of Rutherford County, NC.

In addition to the annual fundraising banquet, funds are also received through organizations, corporate partners, charitable trusts, foundations, and other grant-making bodies. Learn more about making a donation: Donate
